Blender motion capture with kinect and NI-Mate
Requirements :
- Download Blender at blender.org
- NI-Mate ni-mate.com/download/ and
- kinect v1 or kinect for xbox 360 (needs power adapter) or kinect v2 or kinect for xbox one(needs power adapter)
- Also download plugin for blender at blender ni-mate plugin
Lets get started
Step 1:- Open NI-Mate go to setup and download sensor drivers for your sensor (make sure you have higher internet speeds)
Step 2:- Open Blender and install addon
Go to > File > User preferences > Addons > Install from file
Go to > File > User preferences > Addons > Install from file
Select the addon and install it.
Enable the addon from the list and click on save user settings.
Step 3:- Plug in the sensor to PC and make sure the device is connected.
Go to OpenNI 1 tab > skeleton tracking > Enable Skeleton OSC.
Step 4:- Go to Blender > Toolshelf (T) > NI MATE tab > NI MATE Receiver > Select Empties or cubes or spheres as your wish its up to you and if you want auto rotations enable it.And click on Start. That's it.

Hey!! My kinect is connected + I downloaded everything required to make it work, but it's not working at all, it says when I click OpenNI for kinect Xbox 360, (Note for NI mate Free: This sensor is not currently sending any output) when I click enable output and change the source to live, there is nothing, what do I do?
